i havent even started my draft for my thesis chapter. well, okay, i typed my name and two sentences. but it was ideally supposed to be emailed to my group tonight... but hey, instead

i went to borders and bought books for my cruise!!

to be read by the pool, with a margarita, on the ocean, with my seaband on:

1. the jane austen book club-- I know i posted earlier about the movie, but then i saw the book at borders and on the cover Alice Sebold (brilliant author of The Lovely Bones) said: "If i could eat this book i would." so i thought, hellyes. im in.

im beside myself with excitement. I stacked them, okay, i displayed them on my-already-covered-with-books-bluecricketty-coffee table, and i keep glancing up at them longingly as i read about scalpings and snakebit horses with swolen heads, in Blood Meridian.
