The Summer We Read Gatsby, I was wearing Tory Burch.

I just stumbled across Tory Burch's blog and with that onto a snippet interview with the author of the book I'm reading at present. All about the fablife of the Summer Vacationers in South Hampton, "The Summer We Read Gatsby" kinda overflows with Tory Burch style living.

So far its been cute and clever. Hopefully I can be more devoted to it by the pool this weekend.

I love bright pillows and quilts especially when they are patterned and dissimilar from everything else.

I love the use of freestanding architecture in the picture on the left. There is a store here called the Preservation Station that sells salvaged pieces of architecture and they have tons of these. I really want one to go over my kitchen table. with some plants on top, of course.

this place feels like summer in such a beautiful way. I know my mom and bob are building a studio of sorts on their new land and I kind of hope it looks like this.
